Evaluation from participants

Evaluation from Module 1:

- (it) helps in both personal and professional development of both educator and learners, especially learning of different cultures

- I managed to achieve more than this. It opened my eyes. This course made it possible for me to become the lecturer I really want to be! It made me realize what a bad lecture I am!
- My area of teaching - Technology Education relates to engineering and I could relate to the content. I believe that I reached the outcome.
- I reached the outcome to a certain extend. I believe that I could still gain more knowledge and that my portfolio could be improved. This is an ongoing process and should never end. Content was delivered in many forms and were applicable and handy.
- It is just so exciting to be part of this. I find it very interesting and informative! It has broadened my mind and thinking so much! I find it exciting and innovative, and motivate me to continue it as I know that it can work here at our University!

Evaluation from Module 2:

- It was very inspiring more than matched my expectations - really enjoyed the activities involved. Instruction was largely self-instruction within our group, but the activities were very motivating - our group got a lot out of discussions. All contact with tutors was in a very relaxed friendly manner; good feedback and reflection on what we planned to do (in the experiment).
- This is a form of self-evaluation. We hiccupped our way through with lots of concentrated input at times followed by 'pause' when we were involved elsewhere. The general atmosphere was always positive with high motivation. We are very pragmatic - the project had to be useful in that it could be transferred to our day to day working. It most definitely was.
- We see mirrors - we could reflect on how other people / cultures / institutions use PBL and that was a very important part of the courses and project work.
- Altogether it more than matched expectations. Not least it let us experience what we expect from the students. We praise PBL, group working, knowledge sharing etc.
